Insight into Yin and Yang Yoga
Saturday 16th November 2013 2pm – 5pm £20
This yin and yang workshop will explore traditional yoga asana, meditation, reflexology and practices to nourish the organs and meridians.
The afternoon will begin with a more active yang yoga sequence to stimulate the rhythmic movement of the body. This will be followed by a yin practice using long durational holds to open up the hips, pelvis and lower back to connect with the deeper tissues of the body in meditative awareness. The session will end with a guided meditation based upon the yin and yang theme.
There will be time for questions and adjustments when appropriate as we explore this beautiful practice together.
There will be a short break with refreshments provided.
